Buffer Blog

Buffer remains one of my first crushes when you talk about a social media blog. All their articles are crafted keeping me in mind (or that’s how i feel anyway). Relevant, timely and extremely valuable if you are remotely related to social media in any way. Kevan & Courtney’s posts are well written with research based findings mostly related to general how-to’s and how the small things impact businesses & marketing in different aspects.

My favorite post on Buffer: The Science of Emotion in Marketing

Ian Cleary’s blog started out with one focus only: To provide best of the knowledge on different social media tools and how they can be utilized for better management. They have lived up to this expectation with great content & review on social media tools each week and is a great resource for reference and consultation on any social media or digital tool you would like to know

Jon Loomer Digital

Jon Loomer talks about everything Facebook and how you can virtually be successful in Facebook marketing if done the right way. His teachings on Facebook Ads and Power Editor has helped me a lot when working out with agencies and i would recommend you refer to it as well if you want to know more about the topic. Great for staying up to date with all the changes Facebook brings in each month and how it can (or will) impact businesses

Avinash Kaushik

My first reference for a Web Analytics dashboard i was working on and i am hooked on ever since. All the posts on Avinash’s blog are lengthy (so spare 15 minutes for each post to digest and understand) and timely with great examples to set context so that even a beginner in web analytics will not get lost in the data & metrics language he speaks about. Must read if you are remotely associated or want to be working in the analytics background.

My Favorite post: Best practices & tips on Digital Dashboards

Everything is so empty in digital marketing when you don’t have Microsoft Excel to perform the basic calculations. However, Microsoft Excel can do lots of different (read awesome) things when you know where to look. Chandoo is to Excel what Avinash Kaushik is to Web Analytics.Domain expert & crazy about excel with some great info on the lots of functionalities which you will not even know about. Harsh Ajmera favorite blogs

Here’s what Harsh follows & picks his daily go-to blogs:

I sincerely follow {Grow} updates and I believe all the recommendations and suggestions you can retrieve from Mark Schaefer is totally amazing. I had a chance to get his quotes for some of my articles before and his views totally stand-out. The first social media book I read was ‘The Tao of Twitter’ by Mark and I have learnt a lot from it. What I specially love about {grow} is you will find all things related to your business, be it using Twitter more effectively, starting a blog from scratch, email marketing or podcasts.

Peg Fitzpatrick

I personally enjoy reading Pinterest and Instagram tips on Peg’s site. It’s so much full of real content and tactics that you can implement in your social strategies. I specially enjoy images on her blog, not sure but I think she uses Canva in most of the cases.

Rebekah Radice

Like Peg is Pinterest and Insta expert, Rebekah is for Google+. She does some amazing things on Google+, I always enjoy people having their own signature style of saying things and putting them across. Rebekah is one of them, I have learnt a lot from the way she leverages Google+ for sharing her blog content and other useful posts.

Ted Rubin

Talking of signature styles, Ted is much famous for crazy socks he keeps on sharing :) But he is also very famous about #RonR (Return on Relationships) which is what you must understand to really understand the dynamics of social media marketing. When I heard it for the first time, I just loved it and since then I just follow his blog.

The Marketing Nut

Pam’s unique opinion about things on social media is something that kept me hooked always. I have her blog configured in my Feedly and whenever I start reading any of the new articles on her site, I end-up reading atleast 3-4. You can expect a lot of controversial topics and real insights as well from Pam.

Gary Vaynerchuck

I am a huge fan of GaryVee, not only because he is passionate about wines 😛 but also because he always has a different way of saying things. My weekly schedule of watching Youtube videos includes atleast one video from Gary’s channel. And believe me its always a treat. Entrepreneurship, ROI from social media, business tips and his personal lessons are some of the things I always look forward to.

And I am also a secret admirer of Brian Solis and Aaron Lee. Love their blogs.

priyanka ravani favorite blogs
